Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking a technically adept engineer to develop and prototype mathematical algorithms that enable advanced radar system modes and signal processing capabilities.

The role involves threat analysis, mission scenario modeling, and evaluating system performance using Blake Charts. You will work closely with software teams to deploy algorithms on live radar hardware and present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5–10 years of experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Hands-on expertise with MATLAB for algorithm design and functional prototyping.
• Proven experience with radar systems, signal processing, and Blake Charts.
• Background applying systems engineering principles across the complete development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
