Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. in McLean, VA seeks a Mid-Level Software Quality Assurance Tester to support an agile modernization program by testing Java-based applications hosted in AWS, building automated regression tests, and ensuring releases meet security, accessibility, and operational requirements.

You will translate user stories into test scenarios, execute end-to-end, API, and regression tests, prepare test data, and build reusable automated tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Experience testing Java-based web applications, services, APIs, data flows.
Experience with AWS-hosted applications.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into test scenarios.
Execute end-to-end, integration, API, and regression testing across AWS environments.
Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases for functional, system, regression, and API testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and data for regression suites.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevSecOps to ensure release readiness.
