  • 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing support (or a bachelor's degree with 2+ years).
  • Strong communication skills; aligning senior leadership on strategic objectives while coaching frontline teams to execute them.
  • Experience with RCCA process, can prepare a business case, process improvements.
  • Strong listening skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Expertise in scheduling development activities by project, appropriate to project scope, and proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously (coordination, status, and performance to plan).
  • Activities include the development, integration, implementation, and execution of site EHS strategies aligned to the global company vision.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Smartsheet

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provides expertise in EHS safety disciplines

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3-5+ years of experience (OR a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience) in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and manufacturing support

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, innovative behaviors, and the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $76,150 - $116,800
