Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI/UX, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma, including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong UX/product design work and the ability to explain design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and application platforms.
  • Translate product requirements, business objectives, and user needs into thoughtful UX solutions.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems, reusable components, and UX/UI standards.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Identify usability issues and opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Use prototypes and design concepts to communicate ideas and gather stakeholder feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate ideation, research prototyping, content creation, and design workflows.
  • Explore new AI-powered approaches to improve the efficiency and quality of the product design process.
  • Participate in design critiques and contribute to a collaborative design culture.

Job Title: Mid- Level Product/ UX Designer

Location: Hybrid in Utah County

Job-Type: 6-month – Contract to Hire

Salary Range: $47.00 to $57.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Product / UX Designer to join our client and help design intuitive, engaging, and scalable digital products. This role is ideal for a designer who combines strong UX/UI fundamentals, product thinking, and proficiency with Figma with an interest in leveraging AI tools to improve the design and product development process.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders and can take a product from early concepts and user research through wireframes, prototypes, visual design, and final implementation.
