Experience in general fundraising and co-investment transactions is also valued.

Duties:

  • Advise private equity sponsors and secondary investors on complex secondary and liquidity transactions
  • Manage key components of transactions from initiation through closing
  • Draft and negotiate fund documentation, side letters, and transactional agreements
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Contribute to deal strategy, structuring, and execution
  • Assist with fundraising and co-investment matters, as needed

Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years of legal experience in private equity, private investment funds, or secondary transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage significant aspects of complex deals
  • Experience working in collaborative team settings as well as handling projects independently
  • Strong client-service orientation and ability to handle sophisticated institutional clients
  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school
  • Prior experience at a top-tier law firm preferred

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
