Job summary

Pneumatic Engineer position based in Burlington, VT. LeoForce seeks an experienced engineer to design, develop, and implement pneumatic systems, with deep knowledge of mechanical design, fluid dynamics, gas flow, and pressure control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design in manufacturing.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, Zuken E3, SAP, ECTR and CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic systems, fluid dynamics, gas flow and pressure control.
• Familiarity with semiconductor tech and Semispec.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop pneumatic systems by studying customer requirements and testing methods.
• Assure product quality by designing testing methods and validating system performance.
• Prepare product reports by analyzing data and trends.
• Maintain regulatory compliance to safeguard company reputation.
• Keep equipment running by coordinating maintenance and following procedures.
• Maintain system databases by entering data and writing utilities.
• Train and guide technicians to complete projects successfully.
• Develop assembly drawings and BOMs using CAD tools like SolidWorks.
• Monitor gas flow and pressure within pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with semiconductor team to optimize pneumatic performance.
