Lumicity is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a team developing advanced semiconductor process equipment in Wisconsin. You will focus on designing pneumatic and gas delivery systems that impact tool performance, cleanliness, and reliability.
You will design and specify regulators, valves, manifolds, and tubing, create CAD models in SolidWorks, and develop schematics and BOMs. Collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines is essential to ensure proper integration and compliance.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a team developing advanced semiconductor process equipment. In this role, you will focus on the design of pneumatic and gas delivery systems that are critical to tool performance, cleanliness, and reliability.
You will be responsible for designing and specifying system components such as regulators, valves, manifolds, and tubing assemblies. This includes performing sizing and selection to meet performance, safety, and ultra-high purity requirements, creating detailed CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks, developing system schematics and layouts, and maintaining accurate bills of materials. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, process, and controls engineers to ensure seamless integration of these systems into the overall equipment design.
Additional responsibilities include participating in design reviews and risk assessments, collaborating with suppliers on component selection and custom solutions, and ensuring designs comply with relevant industry and safety standards.
Must have US Citizenship or Green card
This is a hands‑on engineering role with real ownership of critical fluid and gas systems in a technically demanding environment.
