Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a mid-level .NET Engineer to modernize and maintain an internal C#/.NET Framework web application with a SQL Server backend. This hybrid role is based in Austin, TX and operates on a 4-month contract, with potential extension based on business needs.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams to enhance stability, usability, and performance while contributing to ongoing modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing applications using C# and .NET Framework.
• Experience supporting and enhancing legacy ASP.NET web applications.
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including stored procedures, complex queries, joins, views, and data updates.
• Experience with web technologies: Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Ability to analyze existing codebases and databases to identify issues and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization of an existing C#/.NET Framework web application (4.6/4.8).
• Analyze and enhance application logic, workflows, and data access components.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement sustainable solutions; improve stability and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to gather requirements and deliver features.
