Job summary

State of South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation seeks a software developer to enhance and maintain systems using .NET and C#. The role involves design, coding, testing, and collaboration with stakeholders to align with business requirements.

You will work on data-driven applications, implement responsive GUIs with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, and participate in code reviews and change control processes to ensure reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus relevant work experience; a related degree may substitute for experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or MIS preferred; alternatively an associate degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain system programs and software.
• Migrate changes per internal standards and change control procedures.
• Participate in code reviews for changes to be deployed.
• Test and debug applications, coordinating external testing as needed.
• Design, implement, and maintain data-driven applications using .NET (C#).
• Create responsive GUIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related tools.
• Perform system maintenance and troubleshoot software service tickets.
• Test modifications, communicate changes to users, and monitor performance metrics.
