You’ll get to work with a dynamic and growing team of Electrical/Marine/Mechanical//Structural Engineers and Naval Architects at our onsite work location. You’ll provide technical support on various engineering ship design projects as an individual contributor but also as part of an engineering team primarily in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Military Sealift Command (MSC). You’ll provide engineering services support that may include Spec writing, electrical design, electrical power load analysis, fault current analyses, short circuit analyses, panel sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, electrical circuit drawings, work item development, selected record drawing (SRD) updates, cost estimates, ship checks and other new business technical work document preparation in accordance with drawing standards and good marine design practice. The ideal candidate will be a technically proficient self-starter with efficient time-management and multi-tasking capability who possesses interpersonal skills to perform as a team player and bring the ability to market our CACI team capabilities to our customers.
