Job summary

SpecPro SSE seeks a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to support the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The role focuses on AMP planning for HVAC, plumbing, water, and other mechanical systems, using SMS data to plan lifecycle investments.

Candidates should have a US-accredited bachelor's in mechanical engineering, 5 years of relevant experience including 3 in military facilities, and familiarity with BUILDER SMS and NexGen IT/TRIRIGA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a US-accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, including 3 years in military facilities/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BUILDER SMS and Utilities SMS data to forecast degradation and replacement needs for mechanical assets.
• Develop and maintain Mechanical Sub-AMP documentation and long-term investment strategies.
• Evaluate water, wastewater, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems to support AMPs.
• Identify energy conservation opportunities and support lifecycle and ROI analyses.
• Translate deficiencies into project requirements, SOWs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate inventories and inspections with Civil Engineering flights and partners.
