Harrison Litigation Team, PLLC is seeking an attorney with 4–7 years of litigation experience and a Tennessee license to handle active litigation matters with substantial autonomy. You will manage depositions, motions, discovery, and client communications while collaborating with partners.
A hybrid schedule offers flexibility, with in-person court appearances as needed. The firm provides a base salary in a range with production-based upside, health benefits, PTO, and professional development
We’re ideally looking for an attorney with approximately 4–7 years of litigation experience who is comfortable handling the day‑time responsibilities of an active litigation practice.
This is a hands‑on litigation role. You’ll have opportunities to take and defend depositions, argue motions, appear in court, participate in mediations, communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel, prepare matters for trial, and take meaningful ownership of cases.
We give experienced attorneys room to work. You’ll have substantial autonomy over your matters while still having access to collaboration, strategy, and support when you need it.
Responsibilities may include:
We aren’t looking for someone who has to know everything. We are looking for someone with enough litigation experience to exercise good judgment, take ownership of their work, and recognize when a matter calls for collaboration or additional input.
The ideal candidate will have:
Our attorneys are trusted to understand their matters, manage their responsibilities, communicate proactively, and keep cases moving. In return, the firm gives them meaningful independence in how they accomplish that work.
This is a hybrid position with significant flexibility to work remotely.
We don’t believe an attorney needs to sit in an office every day simply to demonstrate that they’re working. Office space is available for focused work, collaboration, client meetings, case preparation, and anything else that benefits from being together in person.
Litigation does require showing up when it matters. The attorney joining us must be available for in‑person court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, client meetings, and other case needs.
Our approach is built around trust. We care about excellent work, responsiveness, meeting commitments, and results—not where you're sitting while the work gets done.
Our annual billable target is approximately 1,500 hours.
We want legitimate, productive, collectible legal work—not unnecessary billing simply for the sake of reaching a number.
We also recognize that some attorneys want to produce more. For those who do, our compensation structure provides additional financial upside for production above the firm’s baseline expectations.
Expected base salary is approximately $115,000–$125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
In addition to base compensation, the position includes production‑based bonus opportunities. Attorneys who choose to produce above the firm’s baseline expectations have the opportunity to meaningfully increase their compensation.
The structure is designed to provide both balance and upside. Specific production incentives will be discussed during the hiring process.
We’re building a law firm where talented attorneys can do sophisticated work without automatically adopting every feature of the traditional law‑firm model.
We want attorneys to have challenging work and meaningful careers, but we also believe it’s possible to build a successful litigation practice without measuring commitment by how late someone sits in an office.
For the right attorney, this is an opportunity to join a growing firm, take on meaningful responsibility, and have a genuine impact on what the practice becomes.
