Business Litigation Associate | New York City

Our client, a top AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a qualified Associate to join its Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. As a minimum requirement, candidates must possess between 4 and 7 years of substantial, sophisticated litigation experience and currently work in a large firm. This role involves complex commercial and class action litigation, corporate governance and shareholder suits, breach of contract matters and more. The role will require representation of public corporations, financial services and investment management firms, and private equity clients in various state and federal jurisdictions.

The estimated salary range for this position is $300,000 – $400,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications

• Current admission to the New York Bar
• Currently serving in a large firm (AmLaw 200 strongly preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (there is no current or future sponsorship available)
• 4-7 years of law firm experience in complex commercial litigation
• Proficiency in using artificial intelligence technologies responsibly and ethically is required, including the ability to assess appropriate use cases, protect confidentiality, verify outputs and apply independent legal judgment
• Full cycle litigation experience, including both written discovery and ESI
• Stellar writing proficiency with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience motion drafting and drafting pleadings; Sound negotiation and advocacy skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Exceptional academic credentials strongly preferred
