Atlera is Sngular’s team dedicated to the Atlassian ecosystem.

Atlera's goal is to build a great company with a great culture. With a growing team of already 30+ developers experts in the Atlassian ecosystem, using an agile approach, Atlera helps organizations around the world to bring amazing projects to life.

As a developer in the Atlassian ecosystem, you will be responsible for correctly implementing new features for apps that are seamlessly integrated with Jira & Confluence Server and Data Center. Take advantage of your know-how to design high-performance and scalable products to help millions of people.

The first month will be about settling into the team, getting to know people, and getting used to working with the tools.

During the first month, you'll become familiar with the dynamics of the team. You'll also be introduced to the product and you'll participate in team sessions aimed at understanding the ecosystem.

You’ll work in the development of bug fixes and features alongside your teammates, in pair programming or mob.

Help to improve Jira and Confluence Apps by developing new features and fixing bugs

Communicate and collaborate with your team: the Product Manager, other developers, and testers

Help your team improve by sharing your skills, knowledge, and perspectives

You can expect a smooth onboarding experience as our team will be available right from the start with any inquiry you may have and will help you learn about the Atlassian ecosystem.

We work in an Agile framework with Jira so that nothing gets left behind, and we document everything in Confluence so that the information is always accessible ;)

We communicate both synchronously and asynchronously through chat or video meetings.

We have a strong focus on quality, and you can expect to pull requests, and automated tests being part of your daily work.

At Atlera, the staff enjoys flexible working hours. We only ask that all members of the team are available during a particular time slot so that you can coordinate (you know, the daily, the retrospective, brainstorm meetings, etc.).

Atlera is a 100% REMOTE company.

We strongly believe in the advantages of working remotely and in work-life balance, so you might have colleagues from Porto, Lisboa, Madeira, Madrid, or Galicia :)

However, we use a co-working space once per week in Lisbon and Viana do Castelo.

What's more, we meet up in person occasionally in a chosen location, so it's not all virtual.

The team is well-balanced, experienced, and well-oiled ️.

The team consists of 30 people working on different products for the Atlassian marketplace.

Our teams are made of developers, manual testers, and automation engineers and work in an Agile environment. Our communication is simple and relaxed.

You must have these skills

• Solid level in English (at least written)
• Responsibility and organization
• Capable of working in a team, with a focus on problem-solving
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin

It would be great if you have some of these skills

• Knowledge or experience in ReactJS
• Professional experience with Java-based technologies such as Tomcat, Spring, and Hibernate or similar
• Experience in database management tools such MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience in using development support tools such as an IDE of your choice, Maven, GIT, Jira

For now, you are only eligible for this position if you have a timezone close to GMT.

• There'll be an initial meeting with one team member, so you can get to know each other.
• The second phase is a pair programming with the technical team based on a challenge that will be sent to you (not very long!).
• You’ll receive Atlera’s feedback either for moving forward or not.

Depending on your availability, it could take only a couple of days.

NO. The team is spread over different locations.

They organize occasional face-to-face events lasting a couple of days and hope that you'll want to attend. Of course, they'll cover the cost of these trips :)
