A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney with a focus on intellectual property litigation involving hard technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, litigation experience in patent and/or trade secret matters, and a commitment to excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-stakes matters alongside top-tier legal professionals in a collaborative environment.
Handle intellectual property litigation matters, including patents and trade secrets
Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex hard tech disputes
Provide strategic counseling on ongoing litigation matters
Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Draft pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
Conduct legal and technical research
Mentor and guide junior associates, where appropriate
3–5 years of experience practicing law with a focus on IP litigation
Demonstrated experience with patent and/or trade secret disputes
Strong work ethic and ability to manage high levels of responsibility
Excellent judgment and business acumen in managing litigation strategy
Admission to the bar in the state of the practicing office
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Undergraduate degree (B.S. or equivalent) in one of the following:
Computer Science
Electrical Engineering
Mathematics
Physics

Active license to practice law in the relevant state jurisdiction
Outstanding legal research and analytical capabilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
