Duties

Represent clients in complex patent and trade secret litigation matters

Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and briefs

Conduct legal research and technical analysis

Manage discovery, depositions, and pretrial preparation

Work closely with partners and clients on case strategy and execution

Engage in trial preparation and support, including interaction with expert witnesses

Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice groups

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation

Experience with patent and/or trade secret litigation, particularly in technology-driven matters

Strong understanding of federal court litigation procedures

Demonstrated ability to manage aspects of litigation independently

Admitted to practice in the relevant state bar

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic performance

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (required):

Computer Science

Electrical Engineering

Mathematics

Physics

Certifications

Active bar membership in the state of the intended office location
