Location
Duties
- Litigate complex patent and trade secret cases in federal courts
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to IP disputes
- Participate in discovery, including depositions and working with experts
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop litigation strategies
- Prepare for and support trial, arbitration, or mediation proceedings
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to knowledge sharing
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IP litigation, including significant patent or trade secret casework
- Experience working on litigation matters involving hardware, software, or similar technologies
- Ability to manage assignments independently and work collaboratively in a team
- Admitted to the bar in the state corresponding to the office location or eligible for admission
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic performance
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields (required):
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Mathematics
- Physics
Certifications
Active and good standing membership in a U.S. state bar (or ability to obtain admission in a relevant jurisdiction)
