Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Designer II to develop space plans, concepts, and program documents for interior design projects across diverse sectors. You will support the project team and work on finished plans, specifications, and material selections.

The role requires 4+ years of interior design experience, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp. 3D modeling software like 3D Studio Max and Lumion are preferred.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Interior Design.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in essential interior design technical skills, including AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.
Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Lumion (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide AutoCAD and Revit support for the preparation of project documents.
Produce graphics through 3D renderings and computer illustrations.
Create finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
Assist the design lead with project coordination related to design concepts.
Support the design lead in meetings with consultants, furniture dealers, product representatives, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.
Assist in the development of space‑planning concepts and creation of program documents.
Handle submittals during the construction administration phase.
Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, industry partners, and other team members.
