Job summary

Ware Malcomb is hiring a Designer I to assist project teams in delivering innovative design work across interiors and architecture. You will support project managers and senior designers in documentation, presentations, and construction administration, gaining exposure to multiple project phases and vendor coordination.

You will work under guidance, applying design principles and CAD tools while developing robust construction documents and presentation graphics for client review.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in Interior Architecture & Design
• Bachelor's degree or technical degree/certificate in an accredited Interior Design, Architecture, or related program
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Responsibilities

• Assist in AutoCAD and Revit support for the preparation of project documents
• Support compliance with BIM/CAD project standards and procedures
• Assist in the production of graphics and 3D renderings
• Assist in creating client presentation materials using Studio Templates
• Collaborate to select finishes, fixtures, and furniture
• Support design from Space Planning concept through Construction
• Develop construction drawing techniques and coordinate specifications
