Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
  • Move and position raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
  • Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Be over 18 years of age.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Preferred candidate profile
  • Experience with Front End Loaders, Dozers (D6-D8), Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT), Skid Steers.
Work environment and physical demands
  • Normal setting for this job is outdoors operating heavy equipment.
  • Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.
  • Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely.
  • Required to be exposed to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.

Hours and location
  • Monday – Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays.
