Job summary

Bicycle Health is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build, enhance, and maintain our patient-facing telehealth platform. You will work across web and mobile applications to deliver secure, modern features that improve access to MOUD and behavioral healthcare.

You will partner with product managers, physicians, and engineers, contribute to a scalable TypeScript/React backend on Node.js, and participate in code reviews and CI/CD practices to ensure performance and reliability for remote

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience building and maintaining web or mobile-responsive applications and backend services.
• Proficiency with React and Node.js. Strong experience with TypeScript is highly preferred.
• Experience working with GraphQL or Express and designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
• Understanding of iterative agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and writing testable, maintainable code.

Of the 10 million Americans struggling with opioid misuse, but only a fraction receive a diagnosis. Only 1 in 10 receive treatment. This is an accessibility crisis, and we are on a mission to solve it by bringing life-saving care to the 89% currently left behind. Through a single app, Bicycle Health combines Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) with behavioral healthcare, drug screening, therapy, and peer support.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining the technology that our patients use to receive high-quality care. You will work across our web and mobile applications to help provide efficient, modern, secure, and comprehensive telehealth services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to a mission-driven codebase that directly impacts patient outcomes.

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full time (40 hrs)

Target Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year + Equity - Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

You can expect to:

• Use your knowledge of modern technologies (TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js) to implement, test, and maintain critical product features.
• Partner with product managers, physicians, and staff members to build solutions that improve the patient experience.
• Build and maintain features across our entire ecosystem, including mobile applications, TypeScript backend services, and cloud-based data layers, ensuring end-to-end functionality and performance.
• Operate with openness and integrity, contributing to a diverse, inclusive, and low-ego collaborative environment.
• Deliver value to our users reliably and transparently, maintaining high standards for code quality and performance.

Qualities we're looking for:

• Consistent access to a private work environment with high speed internet and professionally appropriate surroundings for frequent video conferencing and a workstation setup conducive to remote work needs.

This is a full-time (40hrs per week) remote position.
