Mid-Level Full Stack React/Node.js Developer

Remote

Overview

Mid-Level Full Stack React/Node.js Developer, DHS Public Trust clearance with ability to obtain. This role performs Agile software development for systems that support the client’s mission, from requirements through coding and testing. The successful candidate will investigate issues in existing code, prepare ad hoc reports, communicate status and risks, collaborate with teammates, and learn new skills on the job.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development for systems supporting the client’s mission.
• Gather requirements, design, implement, test, and document software components.
• Research issues in existing code and implement solutions.
• Prepare ad hoc reports and communicate status including issues and risks to the team.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve problems and ensure client needs are met or exceeded.
• Learn new skill sets on the job.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a full stack developer
• Experience with React UI or related UI frameworks (Angular)
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with AWS Cloud Tools
• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them
• Aptitude for picking up technology quickly, with a desire to learn and progress
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with team members to meet or exceed client needs and expectations
• Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges and enjoys teamwork

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with AWS Lambda (preferred)
• Experience with SPA concept and libraries (preferred)
• Experience with agile and DevOps tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Cloudbees, React Testing Library, and Jest (preferred)
• Experience with relational database structures and DynamoDB (preferred)

Security/Compliance

Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust.

Location and Compensation

Remote positions. Salary range: $90,000 - 120,000. Salary offered is based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
