Job summary

CACI is seeking a Mid-level Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain signal processing software within an agile team. You will build microservices and a UI for data-rich applications, work on Linux-based systems with Java and Python, and contribute to automated testing and DevSecOps pipelines.

You will collaborate across product teams, support test and deployment, and strive for mission-first solutions while growing your technical leadership in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Must work in-person at the CACI facility in Sterling, VA
• Experience across the full stack using Java, Hibernate, Vue3, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with digital signals processing techniques
• Proficiency in Java development
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash)
• Experience with micro services (Nomad, Docker, Kubernetes)
• DoD 8570-compliant certification or ability to achieve certification within 2 months of hire (GSEC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate))
• Collaboration: demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment
• Adaptability: eagerness to learn new technologies and improve existing skills
• Leadership: ability to lead a small team of developers
• Travel up to 10% as needed
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development and automated testing tools
• Current Security+ certification

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and a user interface (UI) for data-rich applications with complex workflows
• Develop and maintain high-availability software applications
• Write code with Linux-based tools using Java and Python
• Design and implement software solutions and automate processes with Bash and other scripting languages
• Write automated tests and deploy to a DevSecOps pipeline
• Contribute to the technical direction of the project
• Collaborate with teammates with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Provide support to test, integration, and deployment of the software baseline
• Learn end-to-end signal processing concepts and technologies
• Familiarize with development and configuration management practices
• Understand and work with signal processing domains
