Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking a mid-level Front-End Developer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on developing and sustaining the TESTFLIGHT tool, a geospatial collaboration platform, with emphasis on accessibility and a new frontend interface.

The candidate will work on 508 accessibility improvements, frontend redevelopment, and interaction with multiple applications. TS/SCI clearance is required; telework is not offered. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience building front-end interfaces for high-performance tools.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with accessibility in mind.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain the TESTFLIGHT frontend and related UI components.
• Enhance section 508 accessibility and redevelop frontend with accessible UI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with backend services.

Job Description

• Support will focus on development and sustainment of the TESTFLIGHT tool.
  • TESTFLIGHT is a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products.
  • Efforts will include enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current TESTFLIGHT interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

• Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
