Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking a mid-level Front-End Developer in Annapolis Junction, MD to support the TESTFLIGHT tool. The role requires active TS/SCI w/Polygraph and on-site work with focus on accessibility improvements and frontend redevelopment.

You will work on HTML/CSS/JavaScript, GWT, Primefaces, and Quarkus, ensuring robust interfaces between applications and a responsive user experience. This is a full-time position at Shield Consulting Solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with front-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple apps.
• Proficiency in GWT, Primefaces, and Quarkus is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development and sustainment of the TESTFLIGHT tool, a geospatial collaboration platform.
• Enhance accessibility and redevelop the frontend to support Section 508 compliance and a new UI.

Job Description

• Support will focus on development and sustainment of the TESTFLIGHT tool.
  • TESTFLIGHT is a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products.
  • Efforts will include enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current TESTFLIGHT interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Required Experience

• Java 8+
• Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• GWT
• Primefaces
• Quarkus
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Proficiency with screen readers
• 5508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
• Oracle
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Agency reporting and dissemination tools
• Agency classification policies
• Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence
