Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a design-forward architect with 3–5 years of experience to support the LINE Facade Studio. You will contribute to enclosure design, BIM modeling, and energy analyses while collaborating with project teams and clients.

Candidate brings strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, plus familiarity with Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and Dynamo. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture.
• Actively pursuing Architectural Registration.
• Typically with 3–5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of scripting and parametric modelling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify or create enclosure sketches, drafted details and BIM models under supervision.
• Collaborate with project leads on design and technical resolutions.
• Perform routine architectural and energy analysis tasks with team
• Assist in client presentations and communicate design intent
• Research enclosure materials and system options
• Coordinate with disciplines, vendors and contractors for design integration
• Provide guidance to entry-level staff as appropriate
• Attend site visits and document observations
• Assist in proposals, schedules and physical models
• Participate in site or factory inspections as needed
