Responsibilities

• Design cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion.
• Perform NEC-based conduit and cable tray fill calculations.
• Route electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule.
• Lay out electrical equipment in electrical buildings.
• Develop 3D models using drawings, sketches and design skills.
• Check 3D models for interferences and constructability.
• Perform pull box sizing calculations per NEC.

Mid-level role supporting EPC project design work for power generation projects. Designer are responsible for developing detailed raceway designs including cable tray and above ground conduit from concept to completion. Responsibilities

• Design cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion
• Perform calculations to size and check allowable fill in conduits and cable tray systems according to NEC requirements
• Routes electrical cables in a 3D environment to generate a cable schedule
• Perform layout of electrical equipment in electrical buildings
• Develops 3D models utilizing drawings, sketches, and design skills
• Checks and navigates in the 3D models for interferences and constructability
• Perform calculations to size pull boxes according to NEC requirements
• Design and draft intermediate electrical drawings
• Little
