Job summary

NuAxis Innovations in Washington, DC seeks a Mid-Level Developer to deliver features for a public-facing intake app. You will work under a senior developer, building secure, accessible, well-tested code and growing ownership of components.

You will implement Drupal 10+ modules, REST APIs, and unit/integration tests, while contributing to CI/CD, accessibility, and security improvements in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development on web applications.
• Hands-on Drupal development or CMS depth with willingness to specialize.
• Proficiency in PHP and/or C#/.NET, plus JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3.
• REST API design and integration experience.
• SQL fundamentals and relational modeling.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD familiarity.
• WCAG 2.1 AA accessible development practices.
• Experience with automated testing (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium) and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Implement features and fixes across front end and services layers.
• Build CMS content types, forms, views, and custom modules.
• Develop and consume REST APIs with validation and error handling.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
• Address accessibility and security findings in components.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and release verification.
• Document work and contribute to runbooks and knowledge base.
• Develop Drupal 10+ components for container deployments; test automation.
