Expect an hourly wage of $25.00 plus certification, quarterly, and sign-on bonuses. Work schedule is Mon-Tue, Thu-Sat, with first shift hours 6:00am-2:30pm. Equipment and diagnostics are provided to support high-standard maintenance of heavy-duty vehicles.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer
• Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and performs repairs as required
• Replaces defective components as instructed
• Performs facility maintenance duties
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint
• Utilizes Shop Management System and electronic documentation
• Follows safety, DOT, MOT guidelines
• Performs other support duties to assist operations
