Cass Calder Smith Architecture + Interiors is seeking an Intermediate Designer with 3+ years of professional experience for our New York office. The candidate will contribute to architectural, interior, and system design across multiple sectors, with strong CAD and visualization skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional design experience in architecture/interiors.
• Professional or Master's Degree from an accredited Architecture program
• REVIT experience required
• Residential project experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), AutoCAD, Enscape or equivalent software.
• Create accurate schematics, technical drawings, and drafting documentation for various projects.
• Produce high-quality graphic designs and visualizations for presentations and client proposals.
• Assist in system design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Utilize CAD tools to develop detailed plans for interior spaces, mechanical systems, or architectural layouts.
• Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and incorporate client feedback effectively.
• Prepare detailed construction documents and coordinate with engineers or contractors as needed.
