Job summary

I2X Technologies seeks a Mid-Level Defensive Cyber Operations Engineer to support a customer at Patrick Space Force Base, FL. This on-site role requires a Top Secret clearance, SCI eligibility, and proven DCO expertise to defend mission systems and critical infrastructure.

You will lead, design, and tune defensive technology, assess threats, and produce documentation while collaborating with engineers and government stakeholders in a dynamic national security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (hard requirement) with 5 years of technical experience in cyber-defense or cyber security related fields.
• 5 years of professional technical experience (these years may be in conjunction with #2).
• Experience years must come from at least 2 of the listed areas: container/virtual environments, network traffic collection, data storage, data-analysis toolsets, agile frameworks, Linux, Windows, network infrastructure, security applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with engineers to apply extensive expertise on complex assignments.
• Develop DCO methodologies and present solutions to problems.
• Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics.
• Consult on IT and cyber defensive architecture and technologies.
• Assess cyber terrain to understand mission, architecture and threats.
• Advise on technical design and implementation of DCO capabilities.
• Research cyber defense technologies for best fit.
• Lead design, implementation, configuration and tuning of cyber defensive technology.
• Author documentation to support DCO (SOPs, checklists, guides, diagrams).
• Adapt technologies to meet mission architecture and threat.
