Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator and/or Database Developer.
• Proven track record designing, developing, and managing relational database systems in production environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL database schemas, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Manage and optimize AWS RDS instances.
• Own and maintain Liquibase changelogs and execute controlled database migrations.
• Integrate database deployment workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
• Enforce DevSecOps best practices for database security.
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize performance.
• Monitor database health and respond to incidents.
• Manage database user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Conduct capacity planning and proactively address performance issues.
