Qualifications
6+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator and/or Database Developer.
Proven track record designing, developing, and managing relational database systems in production environments.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain MySQL and PostgreSQL database schemas, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
Manage and optimize AWS RDS instances.
Own and maintain Liquibase changelogs and execute controlled database migrations.
Integrate database deployment workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
Enforce DevSecOps best practices for database security.
Collaborate with software developers to optimize performance.
Monitor database health and respond to incidents.
Manage database user accounts, roles, and permissions.
Conduct capacity planning and proactively address performance issues.
