We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Cyber Systems Analyst to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will provide 1.0 FTE support to the Shipboard Panoramic Electro-Optic Infrared (SPEIR) and Long Endurance Electronic Decoy (LEED) programs within PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors. Responsibilities include providing Cyber Systems Analyst / Engineering support to these programs, supporting daily operations for the Assistant Program Managers (APMs), Lead System Engineers, and Task Lead. A hybrid work environment is acceptable; however, you must be able to work from the PEO IWS 2.0 Program Office and various DC area organizations 2-3 times per week, with up to 10% travel (1-2 times per month).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the program’s cybersecurity.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and systems security engineering objectives are met throughout the system acquisition lifecycle.
  • Oversee cybersecurity resources and support program schedules.
  • Support requirements management, including tracing and aligning cyber requirements with platform and combat systems.
  • Lead efforts to bring platform IT systems through the full RMF cycle to achieve or renew Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Maintain the System Security Plan (SSP), Security Controls, and POA&M within eMASS.
  • Support cyber policy implementation, artifact development, and requirements updates.
  • Verify and validate delivered systems; develop test plans and procedures.
  • Assess ACAS scans & STIGs, communicate risks and issues to designated officials.
  • Handle programmatic documentation such as CSS, PPP inputs, and CCA.
  • Manage cybersecurity strategies and programmatic documentation, ensuring compliance and schedule adherence.
  • Contribute cyber input to CDRLs, Model Drops, SEP, TEMP, and other documentation.
  • Perform controls analysis, cyber risk assessments, tabletop exercises, MBSE scans, and Red Team analyses.
  • Support cybersecurity assessments and engineering discussions to ensure proper implementation.
  • Manage and track SSE efforts, including cyber compliance, engineering, and program protection.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Educational equivalency: Bachelor's degree with 3 years or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience in surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, Laser, cybersecurity, or RMF.
  • At least 5 years of experience in surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, Laser, cybersecurity, or RMF.
  • Minimum 5 years providing information assurance, system security engineering, or operational support to the DoD.
  • Minimum 2 years of DoD acquisition experience, including documentation development.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in STEM or equivalent.
  • Experience in Navy/USG acquisition programs.
  • Experience with Magic Draw/Cameo.
  • Strong multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to operate in dynamic environments and demonstrate proactive problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of cyber compliance with DoD regulations and RMF/ATO processes.
