Job summary

AnaVation LLC in Washington, DC seeks a mid-level Cloud Developer to design and implement cloud service delivery models and the architectural framework enabling PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.

You will drive automation using DevSecOps practices, guide application migration to the cloud, and ensure secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions. The role requires 4+ years with major cloud providers and on-site work in Washington, DC with TS clearance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years with major cloud service providers.
• Experience deploying on private/public cloud or a high-availability environment.
• IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM Templates.
• Implementing security best practices for cloud environments.
• Able to work full-time on-site at customer location in Washington, DC.
• Active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
• Automate cloud resources following DevSecOps best practices (CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, security scanning).
• Analyze workloads to determine cloud readiness and migration strategies.
• Evaluate platforms for public, private, or hybrid deployments.
• Define disaster recovery and business continuity in the cloud.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and monitoring, with cost analyses of cloud and on‑premise services.
• Design, develop, and migrate on‑premises apps to cloud platforms.
• Debug and troubleshoot cloud stacks across environments.
• Ensure high availability through resilient architectures and monitoring.
