Job summary

LJB Inc. is hiring a Mid-Level Design Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role focuses on developing designs from concept through final design and coordinating with clients and project managers to ensure successful delivery.

Required are a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license, plus 4–9 years of relevant design experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred to support design-bid-build and design-build projects.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Mid-Level Design Engineer position in Raleigh, North Carolina. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.

Salary Range : $85,000 - $140,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop engineering designs for projects from preliminary concepts through final design.
• Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
• Coordinate with client technical staff and project managers throughout project delivery.
• Support both design-bid-build and design-build project execution.

MID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS

Required Qualifications
