BCG Attorney Search seeks a mid-level associate for its Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group in Miami, FL, with a strong preference for New York experience. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters and hold a JD with active bar admission.

The role focuses on representing debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings while contributing to a national practice growth strategy.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or similar environment.
• Experience with distressed investing, private credit, and capital solutions preferred.
• Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support national practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy and restructuring cases.
• Handle Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
• Engage in distressed M&A transactions and creditor negotiations.
• Navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
