Fieldwire is hiring a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our remote-first team in the United States. You will help build and maintain production services at scale, develop new features for internal and external customers, and debug issues across multiple services.

You’ll contribute to API-enabled integrations and drive improvements in tooling and processes. The role requires a CS degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and 3+ years of backend experience with relational databases; familiarity with Docker

• Experience with modern web application development and relational databases.
• Known for writing clean, well-tested, modular code.
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• Building services with efficient auto-scaling to handle both peak and non-peak loads.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

AtFieldwire,we’relooking for our next Mid-Level Backend Engineer to have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Scienceor equivalent work experience
• 3+years experiencein a Backend role
• Experience with modern web application development and relational databases
• Known for writing the cleanest, most well-tested, and modular code on the block
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures

Compensation:

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $145,000.00- $170,000.00

The salary rangerepresentsthe low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills,qualificationsand experience. In addition to thesalaryyou may be eligible foracorporate bonus which can range up to30%.
