Job summary

Just Tires is seeking a Mid Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in a busy center, diagnosing issues with mechanical aptitude and delivering outstanding service. You’ll learn brakes, alignments, and other evolving automotive technologies while growing with the team.

As a technician, you’ll perform line services, routine maintenance, diagnostics, and tire installation, while documenting work, upholding safety, and mentoring junior techs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving
• Including brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation
• Demonstrate guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior automotive technicians
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report any safety issues to management
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during operating hours
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods including heavy lifting and standing

General Description:

As a Mid Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Just Tires centers by utilizing a mechanical aptitude to diagnose technical issues while delivering outstanding service. You will also become familiar with brakes, alignments, and continually learn in the rapidly changing automotive industry. • Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of ageNo relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• ASE Certification
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
• Previous electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience
