As a Mid-Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will gain hands‑on experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform line technician services including routine inspections and maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem‑solving.
- Conduct brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
- Document all work performed on repair orders and report safety issues to management.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
- Guide and mentor junior automotive technicians.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
- Perform manual tasks such as light to heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
Core Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
- A valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- ASE Certification.
- Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
- Previous electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition experience.
Shift Information
