Job summary

Goodyear in Detroit, MI is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience diagnosing issues and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work on brakes, alignments, fluid maintenance, and basic electrical systems, with training and clear career paths. A valid driver's license and at least 1 year of automotive experience are required; ASE certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, inspections, diagnostics, and problem-solving.
• Carry out brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete wheel alignments, tire installation, and safety checks.
