Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company seeks a mid-level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will diagnose issues using mechanical aptitude while delivering outstanding service.

The role offers training, advancement opportunities, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance and paid time off. Must be able to work retail hours, including some holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem solving.
• Brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments and tire installation.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Report any safety issues to management.
• Promote teamwork to deliver timely and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending and squatting.
