Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Intermediate Application Developer to provide technical expertise for the development, integration, and support of enterprise applications within Application Services. Reporting to the CRM Integration Platform Manager, this role implements scalable, secure software solutions following established architectural standards.

You will contribute to building enterprise web, API, mobile, and cloud-enabled apps while applying disciplined SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of experience in enterprise application development.
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting software solutions.
• Experience working with modern software development lifecycle practices.
• Experience writing maintainable and scalable application code.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience integrating with applications using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, or middleware platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate software delivery while applying critical thinking and engineering best practices.
• Willingness to continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI capabilities as part of the software development process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for technical collaboration.
