Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid level AI/ML engineer responsible for designing, creating, testing, and productizing AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges. The role emphasizes turning research into scalable solutions and improving models through iterative validation.

Applicants must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph and have 5+ years of ML deployment experience. A Master’s or Ph.D. in AI, data science, CS, or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience deploying machine learning algorithms.
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in advanced math, AI, data science, computer science or deep learning.
• 5 additional years ML experience with a relevant Bachelor's degree may substitute for a Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Select appropriate data sets.
• Perform statistical analysis.
• Run machine learning algorithms.
• Use results to improve models.
• Train and retrain systems when needed.
• Experience with various ML libraries and packages.
• Run standard test and evaluation protocols.
• Provide system integration oversight.

• Transform data science prototypes into scalable solutions.
• Verify data and model output quality.
• Identify distribution differences affecting model performance.
