Your Mission

  1. Perform installing and torquing of fasteners, drilling, ream and counter sink, installation of rivets, measuring and shimming interfaces to close tolerances, click bond applications, and separation systems, as well as demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
  2. Perform manufacturing tasks required to prepare, transport, install, and certify ordnance components and separation systems.
  3. Perform painting of flight products, tooling, and furnishings, and operate sealed paint booths.
  4. Perform installation of electrical harnesses, instrumentation, doors, ductwork, and other subassemblies and components.
  5. Prepare, package, and transport aerospace products, subassemblies, and components within the factory and to Customer sites.
  6. Integrate thermal shelter and acoustic protection panels.
  7. Experience with mixing, handling, and applying various bonding adhesive and epoxies.
  8. Must be able to work with shop power tools (drills, saws, routers, sanders, huck guns, etc.).
  9. Must be able to use measurement tools (scales, calipers, torque wrenches, etc.).
  10. Ability to read and understand drawings, multi-level build of materials (BOMs), Assembly Procedures, and Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs).
  11. Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions, routine maintenance and daily cleanup of work area that supports 5S and FOD.
  12. Perform all work according to established standards and safety procedures in accordance with quality requirements in AS9100 certified environment.
  13. Must be able to work with material handling equipment (forklift, overhead crane, man lifts, etc.).
  14. Maintain proper storage and handling of flight hardware material.

Your Story

  1. High school diploma, GED or equivalent; Aerospace certification or degree preferred.
  2. Have a minimum of 3 years in aerospace mechanical and/or production experience.
  3. Aerospace assembly / Integration background preferred.
  4. Previous composite and/or lightweight construction experience is preferred.
  5. Experience working in aerospace, or under AS9100/ISO9001.
  6. Safety minded, Understanding of safety rules and regulations, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement concepts.
  7. High attention to detail.
  8. Willing to work flexible hours and over time to meet customer requirements.
  9. Punctual and good attendance.
  10. Ability to work from ladders for extended periods.
  11. Airframe and Powerplant certification preferred.
