Sportradar AG in New York, NY, is seeking a software engineer to join our Sports Data & Odds Engineering team. You will build and operate high-performance Java services powering our global sports data and betting products, designed for 24/7 reliability at scale.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers in a fast-growing, international environment, contributing to architecture discussions and delivering production-grade code while learning new technologies and growing your expertise.

ABOUT US:

The Sports Data & Odds Engineering organization is responsible for developing, delivering, and operating a broad portfolio of products that power Sportradar's global sports data and betting ecosystem - processing millions of real-time events every day for media companies, sports federations, betting operators, and consumer apps across 120 countries.

Working closely with rights holders, media organizations, and betting partners, our teams build and maintain highly scalable systems that support the collection, processing, analysis, and distribution of sports data and odds across more than 30 sports disciplines, including e-sports.

The development teams based in Warsaw contribute to multiple products and initiatives across these domains, building distributed systems that operate at global scale, process millions of events daily, and deliver mission-critical services that are available 24/7.

This is a role for someone who has delivered real software and wants to keep raising their game. You will work on systems that process millions of live sports events every day - the kind of scale most engineers only read about. You will not be left to figure it out alone. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain high-performance Java services for sports data and betting products running 24/7 at global scale
• Work across the full stack of features - design, implementation, testing, and production - with support from the team around you

ABOUT YOU:

You are a software engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, learning new technologies, and collaborating with others. You have already built and delivered production software and are ready to take ownership of features and services with support from your team.

Required:

• You have 2+ years of professional software development experience and have delivered production Java software
• You write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and take pride in it
• You understand object-oriented design principles and know when to apply them
• You are comfortable working in an agile team and communicating clearly with engineers and stakeholders
• You are genuinely curious - about the technology, the domain, and the people you work with
• Experience with AWS, Kafka, Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus, but appetite to learn carries just as much weight here
