Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Scientist, Mid to join the Data and AI team within the CIO organization in McLean, VA. You will develop and maintain dashboards, data models, and data queries, partnering with business leaders to turn complex data into actionable insights using Power BI or Tableau and Databricks.

You will work with data scientists and engineers, own dashboards, refine pipelines, and help scale analytics platforms while communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with reporting or BI tools, including building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
• 2+ years of experience with data modeling and building workflows in Databricks or Alteryx.
• Bachelor’s degree and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own existing dashboards and data models and update, troubleshoot, and enhance them as needs change.
• Use Databricks and related tools to refine pipelines, automate workflows, and build notebooks that feed enterprise data products.
• Partner with leaders to document, prioritize, and deliver company-wide reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to turn disparate sources into actionable insights.
