Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to turn complex data into compelling dashboards and outputs. You will partner with stakeholders to understand challenges and prototype new ideas, delivering end-to-end visualization solutions that inform decision-making.

You will apply your experience with SQL, Python or R, and front-end design to create insightful narratives. A TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using data visualization tools to aggregate and analyze data collected from various sources
• Experience working with SQL database development
• Experience using advanced analytical methods, storytelling methods, and data visualization tools to develop data-driven narratives
• Experience using Python or R for statistical computing and data manipulation and analysis
• Knowledge of front-end design, data visualization techniques and best practices, and UI/UX methodologies and best practices
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and distill information into coherent and compelling narratives, making it accessible to a broad audience
• Ability to collaborate with business analysts or users to clarify requirements and work closely with different business groups to comprehend and respond to their reporting and dashboard needs
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Develop custom visualizations and outputs based on stakeholder needs
• Analyze, implement, schedule, test, and deploy full features and components of solutions
• Ensure the quality delivery of software through thorough testing and reviews
• Develop, implement, and support the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage
• Mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand client challenges and prototype new ideas
