Job summary

Prescient Edge, a cybersecurity and intelligence-focused firm, seeks a seasoned Counterintelligence Special Agent to lead CI operations at Fort Meade. The role involves directing CISOCs, OPLANs, and CIRPs, and coordinating with FBI and DoD partners to ensure mission success.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of credentialed CI experience, TS/SCI with polygraph readiness, and deep knowledge of CI/HUMINT techniques. Fort Meade location with top-tier security clearances and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with CI POLY or ability to obtain CI POLY.
• Understanding of CI or HUMINT collection operations.

• Must be willing to undergo counterintelligence polygraph examinations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CISOCs, OPLANs, CI Recruitment Leads, and CIRPs.
• Coordinate FBI Category I Operations requests and perform operational reviews.
• Staff support to authorized FBI Activities and Special Collection Techniques.
• Coordinate CI-related activities across DoD, ACIC, Army commands, and other agencies.
• Provide CI guidance and briefings to Government Team Chiefs on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.

• Salary range: $100,000 - $115,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data. Description:
• Shall maintain day-to-day management, direction, technical control, technical review, coordination, and oversight of CI Special Operations Concepts (CISOCs), Operations Plans (OPLANs), CI Recruitment Leads, and CI Research Projects (CIRPs).
  

Management includes writing or staffing CI Special Operations Concepts (CISOCs).

• Shall coordinate Category I Operations requests from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
  

Category I request includes records checks and operational reviews of proposed activities.

• Shall staff requests for support to authorized FBI Activities, including conducting operational reviews of proposed activities and identifying potential legal and operational issues.
• Shall staff requests for Special Collection Techniques, include conducting operational reviews of proposed activities and identifying potential legal and operational issues.
• Shall conduct operational coordination between DoD, ACIC, Army Service Component Commands, other Government agencies, and DA for CI matters related to counterintelligence operational activities and provide counterintelligence-related advice, guidance, and recommendations, as appropriate, to customers.
• Shall conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational briefings with Government Team/Branch/Division Chiefs.
  

Job Requirements Required experiences:

• Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses:
• Army – Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)
• Army – 35L Course (or its predecessor)
• Army – 351L Course (or its predecessor)
• Air Force- Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), U.S. Air Force Special Investigations Academy, or predecessor.
• Navy – Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB), Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor.
• B. Must be a graduate of one of the following:
• JCITA – Advanced Foreign Counterintelligence Operations Course (AFCIOC) or predecessor.

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent.
• Understanding of CI or HUMINT collection operations.
• Strong understanding of CI Flags.
• Understanding of FIE TTPs.
• Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis. *
• College education cannot be used in lieu of experience. Required education:
• High School Diploma- 12 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Associate’s degree- 10 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree- 8 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Master’s Degree- 6 years of relevant experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Security Clearance:
