Markel Mid Atlantic Branch is seeking a VP, Branch Manager to lead underwriting and grow a profitable surety book in the Mid Atlantic region. You will manage a team of underwriters and support staff, and work with independent agents and brokers to maximize gross premium and profitability.

The role requires a strong focus on strategic marketing, building durable relationships, and developing underwriting talent to sustain a competitive edge in the marketplace.

The Mid Atlantic Branch Manager will have responsibility for maintaining our current surety book of business and expand the book in this region.

Pay Information

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The national average salary range for the VP, Branch Manager is $162,800 - $223,850 with 35% incentive.
