Description:
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
- Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology.
- Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
- Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
- Shall possess and maintain the ability to gather and analyze information to produce finished intelligence to support U.S. and foreign Coalition partners and allied clients, internal and external to USCENTCOM.
- Shall perform tasks and actions necessary to enable and facilitate the timely production and dissemination of finished intelligence products.
- Shall support the Write for Release function and produce releasable versions of JICCENT’s finished intelligence products to ensure maximum utility to support intelligence sharing with the broadest audience possible, per Government regulations and guidance.
- Shall create tailored releasable products for USCENTCOM’s Coalition partners and allies to support CCJ22 partner sharing and engagement requirements.
- Shall work closely with USCENTCOM FDO and maintain currency on all foreign intelligence sharing policies across a non-U.S. audience.
- Shall track releasable output and provide metrics weekly to update government leadership.
- Shall independently produce current all-source intelligence analyses to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of regional or functional national security issues and developments in the USCENTCOM AOR and AOI states and actors.
- Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
- Applies pattern analysis to large data sets.
- Produces IC coordinated all-source intelligence products on non-state actors such as terrorist and insurgency groups and their activities worldwide.
- Conducts all-source analysis of foreign state and non-state actors in support of U.S. counter proliferation efforts.
- Shall have and maintain the ability to conduct all-source analysis of the USCENTCOM AOR and USCENTCOM Areas of Interest (AOI).
- Shall have and maintain the ability to gather and analyze information, and provide recommendations necessary for the Government to produce, disseminate, and apply intelligence products in the following subject areas: Political/Military, Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, with a geographic focus on transnational issues.
- Shall have and maintain the ability to conduct research, identify trends, gather and analyze information, provide indications and warning, conduct Joint Intelligence and Operations Center (JIOC) Watch duties, and provide publishable written intelligence products and briefings in various subject areas.
- Shall provide technical experts to enhance intelligence community (IC) wide coordination between Analysts, Planners, Targeting Officers and Collectors.
- Shall meet time-sensitive/routine, internal and external RFIs requiring OSINT collection/reporting for the Central Region.
- Demonstrate value of OSINT through a quality, focused, and relevant product line.
- Engage with community OSINT representatives to maximize support to analytical processes.
- Respond to surge requirements, as required.
- Support programmatic actions to field, develop, and sustain CENTCOM OSINT tools/technology.
- Train and educate all-source analysts on OSINT systems.
- Represent CENTCOM OSINT interests in meetings, working groups, and conferences.
- Effectively engage with J2 analysts, branch analysts, leadership, Open Source Enterprise, and other IC mission partners regarding satisfaction of intelligence requirements and analytical collaboration.
Desired experiences:
- Minimum 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Desired education:
- Desired bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Security Clearance:
- Security clearance required TS/SCI.
